Mark R. Bechelli Founder of Bechelli's Restaurant on Chestnut Street 1977 and co-founder of The Bechelli's Flower Market Cafe (1988).	Mark has played a startup role in two ventures in San Francisco since 1977. Bechelli's Coffee Shop, founded in 1977, and the Bechelli's Flower Market Cafe in 1988. Bechelli's is celebrating 28 years in San Francisco this January. The two restaurants employ a total of 70 full and part time employees representing a cross section of our community. Mark brings conceptual, planning and organizational skills to the enterprise. He is a "hands on" restaurateur with experience as a chef, floor manager and accountant.

Salvatore DiGrande Executive Chef	Salvatore enjoys the distinction of over 40 years in the San Francisco restaurant scene. As a young man Sal owned his own restaurant, aptly named Salvatore's. Located in North Beach, Sal learned the trade and perfected the dishes he cooks today. For twenty-three years Sal was the Master Chef for MAMA'S restaurant, a San Francisco landmark with locations in Washington Square, Macy's, Nob Hill and later in the theater district at Geary and Mason.

Robert Oliver Assistant Chef	Robert is another disciple of MAMA'S . Robert, Sal and Mark Bechelli all worked together on Nob Hill in 1976. Robert honed his skills under the watchful eye of Chef DiGrande. Robert was awarded the position of head Chef of MAMA'S Palo Alto in 1978. Today 'Bobby's' responsibilities include all purchasing , inventory, scheduling, detailed food preparation and working side by side with Salvatore.

Joey Pocoroba Bar Manager	Joey has been tending bar in San Francisco since 1978. One of the original bar managers for the Balboa Cafe, Joey was instrumental in the rebirth of one of San Francisco's great establishments. After ten years (1988), Joey assisted Boz Scaggs at his first venture, the Blue Light Cafe. From there, Joey moved with Boz to his nightclub, Slims. In 1995, Joey had the opportunity to design the tropical menu at Betelnut. After brief stints at Marina Central and Samos, Joey became part of the team at the Bechelli's Flower Market Cafe. Joey has known Mark since the beginning of Bechelli's and the 'new' Balboa Cafe.
