| Located at the corner of 6th and Brannan Streets in San Francisco, The Flower Market Cafe, offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and take out dining. The restaurant offers a full bar and outdoor patio for your dining experience.
Here in the US, the word cafe has an informal connotation. We tend to think of a cafe as a small breakfast or lunch establishment, but across the Atlantic the word is attached to formal dinner restaurants. With the Flower Market Cafe, now serving dinner, the word cafe, with its two distinct meanings, fits perfectly. Breakfast still features their famous Strawberry French Toast, fluffy omelets, and traditional breakfast offerings.
The lunch menu still has a selection of sandwiches and burgers...as well as some new Italian specialties, including hand tossed pizzas. But as the sun begins to set, the casual American cafe transforms to a more elegant European cafe--starched white tablecloths, flickering candles, and an exciting Italian menu appears....
Under the direction of Chef , Salvatore DiGrande, master chef of MAMA'S, The Flower Market Cafe is providing a dining experience from days gone by.
The Flower Market Cafe is also available for your private functions as well. We can accomodate up to 180 people, with plenty of evening free parking.
